I’m delighted that one of my songs, ‘No Apology’, features on this PA Audio Sonoma Master Series album ‘ONE’ which has been mastered and curated by Gus Skinas. The ONE Music Project was founded by a group of music lovers with the aim of “preserving the recording arts and building a financially sound platform where musicians come first”.
Many wonderful musicians also feature on this release, including: Elephant Revival, David Elias, Ron Miles & Bill Frisell, David Darling & Jacqueline Tschabold Bhutan, Lara Juggles, Otis Taylor, Adam Agee & Jon Sousa, Fiona Joy, and Reed Foehl.

Here’s a brand new video, featuring the song Heater from my previous album Songs With Words. It includes a demonstration of how I prepare my guitar for this song, using split rings and horsehair. I hope you enjoy it!

"Guitarist and singer Janet Feder says if you want to enter the sonic landscape of her new album, “This Close,” put on a pair of headphones. It’s the best way to hear the subtleties, like the unusual guitar sounds she makes with beads and key-chain rings. She also draws from her personal experiences to tell stories that help her make sense of it all". Colorado Matters host Nathan Heffel recently talked to Janet about T H I S C L O S E.
